Copic Markers and Other Art Supplies!

If you like my artwork and would like to see more, please consider donating. I've been wanting to try copic markers for quite some time, in fact, I did try them once and loved them, but they are very expensive. I would love to create artwork using copic markers. And, if I'm lucky and have many generous donators, I can use it towards other supplies like color ink, scratchboards, acrylics, watercolor, paper, canvas, brushes, etc. You get the point :D.

I will personally thank anyone willing to donate anything to me, and will mention, if desired, anyone who has given a significant amount and make them a drawing. (I have not determined what is considered significant, but probably something around $15+). Even $1 is worthy of thanks, and I appreciate any donations you are willing to give. Remember, all donations will be used towards art supplies and creating artwork to share with you all!

Commissions are my preferred method of earning some money, though. But, if you'd just like to give a little money to support me and my artwork, any amount is greatly appreciated!

Live Stream Update!

Journal Entry: Wed May 27, 2015, 10:39 PM
My first recording of me doing my artwork! I did a live stream of this (I didn't announce it was my first time doing it. I wanted to make sure that I knew what I was doing before announcing it. I plan to do more live streaming in the future (and near future)! I'll announce it before I do it...

If anyone has any suggestions as to what I should make during my live stream, feel free to let me know!

I used to do this cheetah watercolor. I know it is for gaming (and I might do a little of that too in the future), but all you need to do is say you are playing creative.

I've also been thinking about using I might even use as it focuses on furry/animal art. If anyone has any suggestions in regards to streaming service sites that they know and recommend, I'm all ears.

Tanuki Sketch by silvercrossfox
Tanuki Sketch
Here is a quick sketch of the Tanuki (Raccoon Dog).

Color pencil (black and white) on tan paper.

I figured since they have been popping up a lot recently online, I would draw one. I find these little canines to be awesome. The folklore surrounding them in Japan is fascinating...

I also recommend not buying products labeled "faux" fur, as it often actually fur from these creatures, from the cruel fur industry. I think it is horrible that they would use real fur when labeling it as "fake" fur...

I might make more about these guys, and illustrate the differences between them and the raccoon. The only thing they have in common with raccoons is appearance. They are more related to foxes. Intestingly enough, the actual raccoon, native to the Americas, as been introduced into Japan (1960's?). So, there is even more confusion... especially when I see "tanuki" with striped tails...
Serenity by silvercrossfox
Red fox peacefully sitting and gazing into the distance. As I was creating this piece, I decided to add in gold paint as the red fox looked serene and tranquil.

Materials used: Pentel ink brush pen, copic markers, uni-ball signo white gel pen, and fluid acrylics.
Anger of the Wolf by silvercrossfox
Anger of the Wolf
One of my first illustrations using pentel ink brush pen and copic markers. Since in my mind the ink brush could give expressive lines, I wanted the subject to have intensity, hence a snarling wolf.

You can see the reference here:

Would you like to see me do a livestream? (I will most likely draw my fox character, Alana) Feel free to comment about best time and recommendations.
