Japanese Shape Shifters

Published:
2.4K Views

Description

Shapeshifting animals of Japan. The most common are the fox (kitsune), raccoon dog (tanuki) and cat (neko). The dog and the badger (the one on the far right) also are considered to be able to shape shift (or also called henge). Now, the badger and tanuki are often confused... so they kind of blend together in terms of folklore.
