Commissions:

Pricing is very dependent on what the client wants. These are loose estimates.

For original art:

I charge $25/hr.
Sketches and quick pencil work: ~$15-$40
detailed pencil work, some color: ~$25-$75
paintings, etc: ~$25-300, larger paintings go higher.


For Prints:

Charge depends on paper, size and printing cost. Digital Art goes under this category.

Currently I'm going through imagekind.com to get my prints.

Prices: ~$10-$80, more for large prints. (I haven't done any large prints)
I'm always looking for cheap printing places so that I can have low prices for my clients while still getting my share.

Having a mat increases prices, as well as frames. For the most part, I refrain from shipping framed art due to cost and the high chance of damage. Most mats will be standard size (decreases price) to be easily placed in standard size frames.

Not all original art is for sale! Some art I cannot sell prints of, like the art pieces I've done for clients such as Safari West and San Diego Zoo.

*I want to give my clients a good deal, especially on prints. So, any suggestions on places to get prints is always welcome. I would like to eventually get a really good printer and paper.
